Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Universal are preparing for the holidays from coast to coast. We are ready to welcome the Christmas season with a GIVEAWAY. One lucky winner will receive two Christmas ornaments! Enter the giveaway at the bottom of the page or here.

A stunning display of holiday decorations greets guests at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Universal theme parks. It is the season to be jolly, and the parks convey the holiday spirit with bounteous decor—and plenty of Christmas merchandise.

Holiday snacks and seasonal desserts are tempting, but nothing says Christmas better than the beautiful ornaments available everywhere.

At Disney Springs

At Disney’s Days of Christmas shop in Disney Springs, you can, for a fee, have a cast member paint a personalization on the ornaments you buy.

The origin of the modern-day glass ornament is believed to date back to mid-16th-century Germany. In 1847, in the small town of Lauscha, the glassblower Hans Greiner made the first glass ball ornaments, called baubles. German immigrants brought the tradition of decorating their Christmas trees with ornaments to the United States.

The first Christmas trees, however, were decorated with apples and candy. The first American-made glass ornaments were created in New York in 1870, and the now well-known Hallmark Christmas ornaments were introduced to the market in 1973.

Here is a collection of some of our favorite ornaments from both Disney and Universal. Which one would you like to see on your tree?
