Tammy Whiting, our Disney Cruise Line expert, shares 10 of her favorite changes on the newly reimagined Disney Dream. Read on to learn more!

The Disney Dream recently came out of a month-long dry dock in France sporting several changes and upgrades. Depending on how successful the updates are—and they are pretty successful in my opinion—the Disney Fantasy should undergo similar updates in 2025. Here are 10 of the changes!
1. Ramone’s Cantina – When the Disney Wish began sailing with a Mexican food option called Donald’s Cantina on the pool deck, the place was an instant hit! The Dream has added Ramone’s Cantina with almost identical food offerings—and almost identical positive praise.

2. Disney Infinity Is Gone – Years after Disney Infinity went belly-up, Disney has finally removed the Disney Infinity room from the Oceaneer Club. The space is now a Marvel room with games and Marvel character meet and greets.

3. New Magic PlayFloor – The Magic PlayFloor in Oceaneer’s is the centerpiece of the space, and it has been redone with updated functionality and screens.

4. Spa Updates – The Spa footprint has changed, and there’s a new check-in area and refreshed space.
5. New Tower Suite – After the success of the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath Tower Suite on the Disney Wish, Disney is looking to add Tower Suites wherever possible! On the Disney Dream, to make room for a Tower Suite, the Outlook Lounge has been removed entirely; Edge, the tween club, has been moved next to Vibe. The Disney Dream Tower Suite is Fantasia-themed and features some of the Wish Tower Suite quirks (with improvements). The kitchen (which sounds crazy on a ship where you don’t cook your own food), in particular, was opened up and is a big upgrade. The windows, which afford beautiful views but were criticized on the Wish because they made it easy for other guests to see inside when the blinds were open, were tinted on the Dream so they can only be seen into at night when the lights are on. The Sorcerer Mickey statue that welcomes guests is adorable, and the colors of the suite are upscale and elegant. The whole thing is really well done!
6. Edge Has Been Relocated – Many guests were concerned about Edge moving to Vibe for fear that the Edge kids would be with the Vibe kids, or Vibe would lose too much space, but neither really happened. Vibe went from a massive space to a still pretty big space, and Edge took over one side room that’s a little larger than its old space. Vibe has a great outdoor area onboard, and the two clubs now have separate, scheduled times to use it. It seems like a good use of space overall!
7. New Concierge Rooms – The Dream added 24 new concierge staterooms. Twenty-four category 4A Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah staterooms located midship on deck 10 were upgraded to Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah staterooms. Midship on deck 10 isn’t ideal for easy access to the lounge, but the rooms themselves are very nice.
8. New Lounge for Concierge – With the addition of new concierge staterooms, the lounge needed expanding, and that definitely happened. The lounge is now nearly twice as big as the old space, redone with a subtle Hercules theme. It’s a bright space full of light colors and gold touches. I liked the old lounges on the Dream and Fantasy, but I think this one is a huge upgrade.

9. New Sundeck for Concierge – The Dream now has an expanded concierge sundeck, which is located above the lounge on deck 13. The very popular adult pool Satellite Falls is also located on deck 13; luckily, the space there is pretty much unchanged. The new sundeck area is located on the starboard side of deck 13 and only butts up against the aft area with Satellite Falls.

10. New Bathrooms in Concierge – In a somewhat puzzling move, Disney made upgrades to the bathrooms of several concierge staterooms but left the actual staterooms untouched. The new bathrooms are undeniably beautiful but don’t really match the staterooms’ current decor. In fact, the improvements make the current decor seem a little dated.
