Walt Disney World is kicking off the new year by bringing back its popular “free dining” offer for resort guests on select dates during summer 2020, but you’ll have to book before Jan. 16 in order to secure your deeply discounted dinner.
Walt Disney World visitors who purchase a non-discounted 4-night or longer package — including a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and at least a 4-Day Park Hopper Ticket — can receive a free Disney dining plan.
This offer is only valid for arrivals on most nights Jun. 27 through 28, Jul. 5 through 7, and Aug. 29 through Sep. 8, 2020. In addition, you must book the package by Jan. 16, 2020.
Guests staying in Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Rooms receive the Disney Dining Plan, which includes one quick service and one table service meal per person, per day, plus two snacks and a refillable resort mug. Guests at moderate and value hotels receive the Disney Dining Quick Service plan, which replaces the table service meal with another quick service credit. The dining plan table service credits exclude gratuities, which are expected, and some table service restaurants may have limited availability.
Only a limited number of rooms are available with this offer, and it excludes campsites, 3-bedroom Grand Villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort—The Little Mermaid standard rooms. In addition, all guests staying in the same room must purchase the same package.
The Free Dining offer cannot be combined with any other type of discount, so carefully consider if you are eligible for any room or ticket offers that might outweigh the value of the free food.
Also be aware that Disney has updated their dining plan policies, so that all meal credits are new designated as either adult or child. Children ages 3–9 must order from children’s menu, if available.
