Universal Orlando Announces 2020 Mardi Gras Concert Lineup with Marshmello and TLC

Universal Studios Florida is celebrating a quarter century of Mardi Gras parties this spring, and today Universal Orlando has officially announced that top musical acts like Marshmello and TLC will headline the 2020 Mardi Gras concert series.

Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras 2020 celebration will run from February 1 through April 2, 2020. A family-friendly version of the iconic Big Easy bacchanal, Universal’s 25th annual Mardi Gras party will feature a nightly parade, Cajun-style cuisine, and live headliner concerts at Music Plaza Stage on 16 select nights.

This year’s featured Mardi Gras concert stars include DJ and producer Marshmello; the multi-platinum international star behind global smash-hits “Despacito” and “Échame La Culpa,” Luis Fonsi; and best-selling American girl group of all time, TLC, known for “Waterfalls,” “No Scrubs,” “Creep,” and “Unpretty.”

  • Feb. 1: The Roots
  • Feb. 8: Karol G
  • Feb. 15: Bell Biv DeVoe
  • Feb. 16: +Live+
  • Feb. 22: Kool & the Gang
  • Feb. 29: TLC
  • March 7: REO Speedwagon
  • March 8: Dustin Lynch
  • March 13: Luis Fonsi
  • March 14: The All-American Rejects
  • March 15: Diana Ross
  • March 20: Chris Young
  • March 21: Earth, Wind & Fire
  • March 22: Marshmello
  • March 28: Why Don’t We
  • March 29: Gavin DeGraw

Beyond the headliner performances, authentic New Orleans musicians will perform daily in Universal’s French Quarter Courtyard:

  • Feb. 1 – Feb. 13: Dirty Bourbon River Show
  • Feb. 14 – March 5: Free Agents Brass Band
  • March 6 – March 21: New Breed Brass Band
  • March 22 – April 2: Naughty Professor Brass Band

Beyond the music lineup, Universal has also announced that 2020’s nightly Mardi Gras parade will be inspired by the theme “Treasures of the Deep,” debuting six new floats (created by New Orleans’ Kern Studios) inspired by mystical creatures of the deep and the sunken city of Atlantis.

Cajun-themed food and beverage offerings will include a new Carnival Around the Universe tasting tent, plus the returning Bayou Boil crawfish dinner and Mardi Gras Tasting Lanyard options.
