It’s no secret that food is plentiful on a Disney Cruise! And luckily, the vast majority of it is
included. If you aren’t quite hungry enough for a full meal or need something to tide you over
until the next one, you’ve got lots of options for included snacks. Here are 10 of my favorites.

- Mickey Bars – Clearly, Mickey Bars are the best free snack onboard, especially for parkgoers
who are used to paying around $6 each for them on land! They’re available in all the Main
Dining Rooms, as well as from room service. Need a Mickey Bar at midnight (and who doesn’t at
some point)? Room service has got you covered. - Charcuterie – On the Magic and Dream-class ships, Cove Café has snacks! If you are a
charcuterie fan, you’ll be pleased to know that the café usually offers a selection in the evenings—the perfect appetizer before dinner. - All Hands on Deck – Speaking of pre-dinner appetizers, a very popular option among
veteran cruisers is the All Hands on Deck from room service. It’s a plate of cheese, crackers,
and usually some grapes. Order it while you’re getting ready in the evenings. - Pizza – Is pizza a snack? I’m going with yes.
- French Fries or Chicken Strips – I’ve never turned down a French fry; in fact, it’s my
favorite appetizer at dinner! Fries are also available during the day on the pool deck, and it’s
easy to grab a plate of them. Since we are going down the road of real food as snacks, I can’t leave chicken fingers off the list. Grab one on the pool deck and try to figure out what Disney is putting in them to make them so irresistible! - Fruit – I suppose I should add something healthy to the list! Fruit is available on the pool
decks and in the buffets. - Cupcakes – Vista Café and Cove Café on the Magic and Dream-class ships have snacks throughout the day, and often you’ll find small cupcakes! These are a sweet highlight in the afternoon.
- Chips – While I will forever complain that Ramone’s Cantina doesn’t serve chips, there are a
few places onboard and on the islands where you can grab a bag of Lays. Sometimes a bag of
Lays just hits the spot. - Soft Serve – That’s right, all the ships have unlimited soft serve. The flavors vary, but there’s
always vanilla and chocolate. - Floats and Ice-cream Sandwiches – Don’t limit yourself to just ice cream! Grab a cup to
put the ice cream in, and then add your soda of choice! You can also take two cookies and put
ice cream in the middle! Castaway Cay has the perfect cookies for this at lunchtime.
How about you? Do you have a favorite free snack onboard?
