Exploring a whole new theme park is thirsty work, so we’re bringing you our Unofficial Guide to some of the unique brews, bubbles, and other beverages to enjoy inside Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe.

Universal kicked off the themed beverage craze nearly 15 years ago with the introduction of Butterbeer, but that is just the beginning of the specialty drinks guests can refresh themselves with inside Epic Universe. Here’s a look at some of the cocktails, mocktails, and beers we’ve sampled so far during the preview period of the new park, which officially opens on May 22, 2025:
Celestial Park
Epic Universe’s central hub is home to Atlantic, the park’s premier table-service restaurant, and a great spot to start our sipping survey.

Recommended cocktails served here include the Northern Lights, a cosmopolitan that changes colors as the purple butterfly pea blossom ice sphere melts; the Spice Route Old Fashioned with date syrup; and the Aranciata Mule, available as a mocktail with ginger beer and black-cherry syrup.

While strolling through Celestial Park, park yourself at the Celestiki bar for a Caribbean Spiced Colada, a potent nonfrozen twist on the tropical classic.
Super Nintendo World

The hottest signature drink inside Super Nintendo World is this new slushie available at Yoshi’s Snack Island, flavored with melon and apple. You can also get an adorable refillable Freestyle cup shaped like a power-up mushroom.
Dark Universe

Dark Universe is home to the Burning Blade Tavern, a hangout for monster hunters, where you can down Darthorne Mead, a blend of honey and blackcurrant boysenberry wine with a delicious peppery finish.

Restaurants in Dark Universe also offer Reapers Revenge, a rich brown ale with spicy notes of caramel and clove.
Hot Tip: If you hear the village bells tolling while you’re inside the Burning Blade Tavern, pop outside to see the spectacular periodic pyrotechnic display:
Isle of Berk
Considering the Vikings’ legendary enthusiasm for imbibing, the Isle of Berk isn’t as awash in signature drinks as you might expect, but Mead Hall offers a few special options.

Gobber’s Mead, the restaurant’s namesake drink, is similar to the mead in Dark Universe, only more significantly more fruit-forward with a somewhat sour back end.

There’s also a specially brewed ale, as well as a Freestyle variety called Dragon Splash that unpleasantly resembles Mountain Dew with green apple.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Ministry of Magic
Since Harry Potter started the signature beverage craze, it’s only fitting that Ministry of Magic is host to the most specialty drinks within Epic Universe.

Bar Moonshine, tucked in the back corner of the Parisian streets, draws a long line for craft cocktails like the Lobe Blaster, a brain-busting blend of moonshine and absinthe.
It’s also the spot to get the (currently) off-menu Alchemy, a nonalcoholic tea with a packet of sugary powder you stir in for a shimmering effect:

Au Currant Saison, available throughout the Wizarding World, is a refreshingly light brew with a touch of tart berries.

Lavender lemonade, with a gentle hint of floral flavor, was the loveliest nonalcoholic surprise in the new Wizarding World. The Fraise, which resembles sweet tea mixed with a little Scope, was a less-lovely surprise.

Last but not least, Butterbeer (known here as “Bieraubeurre“) is back in its cold and frozen forms, with new souvenir mugs. The dark drink beside it is Le Breuvage Sombre, served exclusively inside Le Gobelet Noir, a grape soda with yogurt-filled popping pearls.
