To celebrate its milestone 10th year, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is adding a surf party-themed area called Hang 10 to its offerings.

The surf-themed party will take place on the resort’s beach and comes complete with a live band and two new dishes. Feast on clams, shrimp, oysters, and fries—seasoned with malt vinegar and served with lemon and traditional tartar sauce in a fry basket. Or enjoy a refreshing hearts of palm ceviche. New beverage selections, including Spritzes and hard seltzer water, will also make their debut.

The other themed areas are Carnival Corner, where you’ll find the Funfetti fried Oreo cookie; the Beer Garden serving Oktoberfest-inspired dishes; Chinatown with cuisine inspired by the famous San Francisco neighborhood; and The Pig & Poke, a Hawaiian Luau-themed area that debuted last year. At the Bubble Lounge, enjoy your hors d’oeuvres with bubbles.

The resort’s chefs Todd English, Dan Herman, and Laurent Branlard will present new and returning favorites from the Swan and Dolphin’s restaurants. New this year are, among other dishes, a Seared Salmon with caramelized cabbage, sauce soubise, and chestnut gnocchi ossolani from Garden Grove, and a Vegan pho with rice noodle, bok choy, carrot, bamboo shoot, hoisin, and sriracha from Fresh Mediterranean Market.

Some recurring festival favorites are the oven-roasted angus beef tenderloin with Idaho mashed potatoes, caramelized field mushrooms, and sauce bordelaise from Shula’s Steakhouse, as well as Dynamite Rock Shrimp from Todd English’s bluezoo.

The 10th edition of the festival features culinary artistry from pastries to pasta, wines from around the world, and 11 educational seminars teaching participants about wines, cocktails, spirits, and sake. Certified sommeliers will teach the skills of choosing the perfect bottle for the perfect occasion and the perfect meal. Other educational sessions provide know-how about pasta-making, cheese pairing, or the fine art of sushi. Most seminars begin at 4:30 p.m. and last approximately 1 hour.

The event offers guests unlimited tastings at more than 90 stations, featuring selections from the hotel’s award-winning restaurants and wine from more than 60 wineries, amidst a festive backdrop of live entertainment on the hotel’s scenic causeway and at the resort’s beach.

Event tickets are $145 per person, per evening, which this year includes the Beer Garden. À la Carte ticket booklets containing 25 tickets are also available for purchase at the event for $65. These tickets are perfect for those with a lighter appetite and for young children. Offerings range from two to six tickets per item. The 11 hands-on seminars with the hotel’s chefs and certified beverage experts are offered for an additional fee.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is held Friday, November 8th, and Saturday, November 9th, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
