Christmas Magic Coming to Disneyland Resort

CA Christmas BANNER

Disneyland Resort will be bringing Christmas Magic to the Happiest Place on Earth, and here is an overview of what is happening.

Disneyland Park celebrates the season with the “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade, which will take place several times daily. Guests can enjoy the characters dressed in their Christmas finest. The entire park and the castle are decorated to the max, with Main Street U.S.A. displaying nearly 1,800 ornaments.

Make sure to pay a visit to the Haunted Mansion where Pumpkin King Jack Skellington has decked out the mansion for the Hallow-Days. The macabre makeover can be seen September 3, 2021, through January 9, 2022.

It’s a Small World also gets a Christmas makeover; even though the song won’t leave your head for a long, long time, it is a must-see attraction. Make sure to return at night when 50,000-plus lights and video projections transform the classic façade of the ride.

At night, Sleeping Beauty’s castle is transformed into Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle complete with thousands of twinkling lights.

The night ends with the “Believe in Holiday Magic” fireworks. When you’re leaving the park, magical snow will fall on Main Street U.S.A. and several characters, dressed in their pajamas, will wave goodbye from the balcony of the Disneyland Railroad Train Station.

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, discover the diverse season of celebrations, including Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and Three Kings Day.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse join ¡Viva Navidad!, a street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis. Giant mojiganga puppets join the festivities. Did you know that mojiganga puppets originated in Spain and were brought to Mexico in the 1600s? Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists will also join the fiesta.

Cars Land will shine in holiday decor, and two other attractions will undergo Yuletide transformations. Make sure to visit Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Santa Claus holds court in his rustic home at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. It is a great place to snap family pictures for your Christmas cards.

Guests can enjoy Christmas magic at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure from November 12th, 2021, through January 9, 2022.
