Holiday snacks and seasonal desserts are tempting, but nothing says Christmas better than the beautiful ornaments available everywhere.

The First Christmas Ornaments

The origin of the modern-day glass ornament is believed to date back to mid-16th-century Germany. The first Christmas trees, however, were decorated with apples and candy.

The first American-made glass ornaments were created in New York in 1870, and the now well-known Hallmark ornaments came to the market in 1973.

Here is a collection of some of our favorite ornaments from both Disney and Universal. Which one would you like to see on your tree?

If you do not get to buy any ornament, consider crafting some. There are many online DIY tutorials for your very own Disney Christmas Ornaments such as this one

And while the 2020 Yuletide season is different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festive atmosphere that Christmas ornaments bring to your home will put everybody in the spirit of the season.
